What if there are more riders than racing gates in one class?

If we have more than 13 riders in one class, then we will have to run gate qualifiers. We will split the class into two groups. The first group will race 2 or 3 laps, we will then take the top placements from that group. Then we will race the second group for 2 or 3 laps and also take the top placements from the second group. Then we will run a Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) and take the top placements from this final group to have a front row gate position at the main event. If you don’t qualify in the first heat, second heat or LCQ, you will have to be on the second row on the gate. This only applies to MX bikes, not quads.
