If the daytime temperature is colder than 35F, we will hold your order until the weather is safe enough to ship your plants. Will heat packs help keep my tropical plants warm during shipping? Yes! The type of heat packs we carry will increase the internal box temperature up to 10F higher than the outside temperature for 72 hours. (This is rated for a 12x12x12 box). For all tropical plants we carry, this is sufficient warmth to safeguard against cold damage in the event that the box is exposed to cold temperatures during transit.
