What if the trees to be cleared contain fauna?

A. Qualified fauna spotters/catchers will inspect all trees prior to felling. Trees containing fauna or suspected of containing fauna will be marked with coloured tape. No tree in which a koala or other fauna is present, and no tree with a crown overlapping a tree in which a koala or other fauna is present, will be cleared until the animal vacates the tree by its own volition and the spotter/catcher has confirmed that the fauna is no longer in the tree.
