A. Check that the SU radio line card has a valid IP address. If you have to try a few times to get beyond the ranging_2_state, this is a sign that something else is wrong. This means that somehow the SNR is too low. If the unicast retry counter in the SU is set to non-zero, this is an indication of low SNR. In order to see the SNR value, use the show controller r1/0 mac command.
