What if the shutdown macro changes?
The ps3toothfairy can deal with this in a few ways. If the change is simple, a special configuration command can be setup to modify the shutdown macro. If the change is major, an entirely new macro may be programmed by the user (V2 units, shipping after June 2008). The macro will respond to the Power Off command, but you could have it do anything you like.
