What if the PROOF for the tetanus-diphtheria-polio primary series is unavailable?
Serologic testing can be done to verify the immunity status of tetanus and diphtheria but not for polio. In that case, you must receive at least one booster dose of polio. If serology indicates absence of immunity to tetanus and diphtheria, you must receive the vaccination according to the adult schedule. Three doses are required.
