Ans. The Motor Vehicle Act provides for 30 days grace period, within which the Licence is renewed. If the accident / loss took place within the grace period the claim is payable, subject to other terms and conditions about its genuineness and authority to drive. However, the claim is not payable after the expiry of 30 days grace period for renewal.
