If the parent with care is getting Income Support or income-based Jobseekers Allowance and refuses to take a DNA test, the CSA may apply to the courts for the courts to determine parentage. For parents with care who are not receiving benefit, the CSA will treat their application for child maintenance as if it had been withdrawn.
