What if the offender is incarcerated in another state?
The CHSB has the authority to certify individuals for notification concerning inmates incarcerated in Massachusetts. If you would like to find out about being notified of the release of an offender who is incarcerated in another state, please feel free to call the Victim Services Unit at the CHSB at (617) 660-4690 and you will be referred to the state where the offender is incarcerated.
