What if the client has no GIS system but uses CADD type of mapping?
It does not affect UMS services at all. The client can provide their maps or sections of the maps and which are subsequently Geo- Referenced by UMS and “Mercury” The new data are collected and QC’ed on the CADD maps and they are provided to the client as a separate layer or integrated in any reference format such as JPEG or PDF. Subsequently the client’s CADD department can use these prior to integrating the data into their mapping systems.
