To refund purchases that used coupons, use the Refund Console in your PayPal account and refund the full amount without changes. PayPal will handle proper chargeback.

If the refund or chargeback is processed through PayPal, then the amount of the coupon will be refunded back to the coupon issuer and the remainder of the payment will be refunded to the buyer.
