Place the blade flat on a table with the screw side down and the teeth pointing away from you. With a small pair of needle nose pliers, adjust the ears of the socket so that they are straight up and down. Place the blade on a clipper as usual (make sure that your clipper is running on low speed). The blade will be difficult to lock down. Continue to apply pressure until the blade locks onto the latch and is firmly seated.
