What if the batteries run down on a closet vault with an electronic lock?
All of SnapSafe Closet Vaults feature electronic locks with non-volatile memory. This means your combination code is retained even if the battery has gone dead and is no longer powering the lock. If this happens, simply replace the battery which is accessible from outside the closet vault. For added security, you can even deliberately remove the batteries from the lock and then replace it when you need access to the closet vault.
