What if the Assured wants to assign the insurance to a third party?

This can be done as long as the third party has an Insurable Interest in the property insured at the time of the loss. The insurance cover is related to the property named in the Certificate, not the name of the assured. As long as the third party has an Insurable Interest in the property insured at the time of the loss, the insurance will respond in the usual manner to loss or damage (where covered) of the property detailed on the Certificate.
