What if students do not want to submit exercises or tests to an instructor before they see how many questions they have right or wrong?
Many Eduspace courses include self-test or practice material that students can use to see how they did on questions without fear that their work will be recorded in a place that their instructors can see. However, when an instructor assigns an exercise or test in Eduspace for a grade, that means the instructor has determined that students must submit their work without knowing for sure if their answers are correct. In this respect, Eduspace follows the offline model of students completing homework on paper and handing it into their instructor for grading. Eduspace improves on the offline model by freeing the instructor from the time-consuming task of correcting tests and exercises (except for essays) and gives the students immediate feedback.
