What if some one whom i have added in my messenger contact has not added me in his messenger contacts?

If you have added him/her, but they have not added you, then they are on your contacts list and when they sign in you can talk to them. However next time they sign in they will get the message if they want to add you or not. If they say yes, then you will then appear on their contact list and you will be available to talk to when you’re online. If they say no, then you are not on their contact list and they will only be able to talk to you when you initiate a conversation. You can only be shown as a blocked contact if they had added you at least once in the first place and blocked you then. Confusing I know.
