What if some of the guests are persons with disabilities?
There is limited Calihan Hall main floor seating for persons with disabilities, accompanied by one able bodied companion. The limited seating is first come, first served. The chance of being seated in the disabled section shortly before the procession begins is unlikely. Balcony seating can be accessed only by steep steps. An alternative viewing site, Ford Life Science Building 113 Lecture Hall will be opened to accommodate those disabled guests who cannot be seated in Calihan Hall. The Lecture Hall is equipped to receive the Horizon League TV Network satellite feed. It provides 262 comfortable theatre seats, ramped aisles, and air-conditioning. In addition, there is spme space for wheelchairs. The Lecture Hall is located between Calihan Hall and the Student Center and, while accessible, it does not have wheelchair accessible restrooms.
