Subcontractors and subgrantees must comply with the UAB policy. Investigators outside UAB may either sign UAB’s form(s); submit the form(s) developed by their primary institution; or submit a letter of certification signed by their institution’s conflict of interest official. UAB’s Conflict of Interest Office is best prepared to handle inter-institutional certifications on behalf of the UAB principal investigator.
