What if peak oil isn just a myth started by pinko commie tree huggers?
If peak oil isn’t a myth, I want the world to start running out of oil today, right now. Why? Because in 2008, when the price of gasoline started going up to $4 per gallon, people started seriously thinking about alternatives. The government started thinking about allowing drilling off shore in the northeast. In short, the 2008 panic created a lot of creative thinking about alternatives to oil. The same thing happened in the 1970’s, and now 1970’s technology is being combined with 2009 technology and things are changing. Bio-diesel is growing in usage, along with ethanol, and HHO (brown’s gas). One thing peak oil does not consider is how fossil fuel was created. We all assume fossil fuel is oil from dinosaurs. But in fact it is fuel from prehistoric algae. We don’t have dinosaurs to make oil from but we have alot of algae to make oil from. And technology is being developed to turn algae into oil today, rather than sucking oil out of the ground. And there is research into biological org
