So a patient who would like a different colour – black for evening wear for example – or socks to wear under trousers, can order them from their pharmacist. It is important, however, to ensure that the patient’s legs have been measured so that the correct size can be selected. These measurements can be recorded on a prescription pad for the pharmacist’s ease of reference.
