What if new School C Montessori PreK-8 becomes over enrolled at the middle school level? Will these students be able to attend Sunrise Middle School and would transportation be provided?

At the twentieth day of enrollment this year there were 45 Sunrise Middle School students residing south of Interstate 595. These students will be allowed to complete their enrollment at Sunrise Middle School if they choose with transportation through the 2011-12 school year allowing these students to finish their last year to matriculate through the Sunrise Middle School magnet program. If a waiting list materializes for New School C, middle level students on the waiting list will be offered an opportunity to attend Sunrise Middle School on a seats available basis in accordance with policy 5004.1. Transportation will be provided through the same 2011-12 school year in alignment with the 45 students identified above being allowed to continue at Sunrise Middle School. Transportation will end from south of I-595 to Sunrise Middle School Montessori Program at the conclusion of the 2011-12 school year. This provides a transition window for the Sunrise Middle School Montessori Program. Appl
