What if my son or daughter misses an advisory period? Can they make up an advisory period or activity?
The first step would be for the student to contact their advisor. Some activities would be easy to make up in the career center. Other activities such as a guest speaker or a workshop are difficult or impossible to make up so an alternate activity would be needed. The advisor will help the student determine what to do. Remember, ALL the mandatory assignments in the portfolio are required to graduate.
