What if my SIA door supervisor licence expires in 2011?
Currently there are no requirements for door supervisor renewal applicants to become qualified in the new Physical Intertervention module, therefore currently you will be able renew without further training. Please note the original SIA press release regarding the changes did originally include licence renewals but this has been revoked. However the SIA have indicated they are still considering introducing a training requirement for renewals in the future, but nothing has been revealed. Once the SIA advise the industry of any changed we will ensure the information is readily available.You say that tutors need to have the C&G Conflict Management trainers qual. But the SIA say that the BTEC Award in Deliverers of Conflict Management Training is also acceptable.
