A.9. It is important to notify office staff and educate them about this new policy. This policy is effective December 1, 2001 in Illinois/NW Indiana. Claims for CTs, MRIs, Nuclear Cardiology Tests and PET Scans that are not precertified will not be paid, and the members must be held harmless.
