What if my name in the CalNet Directory is different from my name in CalAgenda?
Names will be part of the directory information that will be used. When the pull of information from CalNet occurs, your name as it appears in the CalNet directory will be your name in CalAgenda, also. If your name is different in the CalNet directory, your CalAgenda log-in will change to your CalNet directory name. If you would like to continue using the name you have on CalAgenda, you are welcome to change your name in the CalNet directory to match it. There is no requirement to use a more formal name in the CalNet directory. For example, if you prefer to be known as “Mike”, but your name in the CalNet directory is “Michael”, you can change your name in the CalNet directory to “Mike”. This will not affect the name used for payroll purposes. If you have non-English characters in your CalNet directory name, such as è or ñ, CalAgenda will use the English version of your name.
