What if my laptop breaks during a non-academic semester or vacation term?

• Students with a Direct Purchase laptop are strongly recommended to bring their laptop to the ITSC to have it repaired. You will NOT be issued a loaner laptop during a non-academic term. If you choose to have the laptop serviced off site, Sheridan cannot guarantee the level of service you receive from third parties. • Students with a BYOL laptop will be provided basic software support by the ITSC (this may be limited to 15 minute consultation). Hardware- or unsupported software-related problems are not supported by the ITSC. You will need to obtain support from your original point of sale or a third party service center. Under the BYOL option you are not eligible for a loaner laptop.
