What if my depression, anxiety or lack of sleep is seriously interfering with my life & I have trouble with daily functioning?
To take action regarding major depression, one must understand that there are both psychological and physiological mechanisms involved. Psychologically, one must be engaged in several healthy relationships that provide the love and attention one needs to survive. I say several because each relationship should provide the needs to one or more facets to the development of an individual, and his improvement. Psychologically, one needs to live in a clean, orderly environment free from clutter and unnecessary things that intrude upon your daily routines in life. Psychologically, one needs lastly, to make some genuine impact on society, or something greater than himself. This larger-than-oneself attitude toward life will allow one to see that relationships are bilateral and that one can empower himself to achieve greater things than previously.
Physiologically, one needs to eat well and exercise. Eating well ensures that proper nutrients are being fed to our mind and body so that they can function at peak performance. Exercising will ensure that peak performance will be continual and constant, and not some temporary state of being.
