What if my company already submitted a goal but hasnt yet received EPA approval?
EPA will review and consider goals from small businesses that were submitted to EPA prior to September 25, 2009. Goals submitted after September 25, 209 will not be reviewed. Companies must set absolute goals that reduce total emissions by a minimum of 5% in 5 years or less to remain members of the Climate Leaders Small Business Network. Companies that set carbon neutral goals must include a Scope 3 emissions source and must sustain carbon neutrality for a minimum of 3 years after setting a base year.
