What if more than one person is nominated for the same officer position?
All nominees are placed on the ballot in the statewide election and the nominee receiving the majority of the votes cast by the membership is elected. In cases where there are more than two candidates nominated for any position, and none receives a majority of the votes cast, a second ballot shall be required between the two candidates receiving the highest number of votes. The candidate receiving a majority of the votes cast shall be declared elected.
