What if methanol, diesel or another fuel becomes a more viable option than gasoline?
Not all alternate fuels are inexpensive and have an effective environmental and economic impact. We will still need to conserve the fuels we burn and lower the emissions from our automobiles regardless of any potential fuel alternative. Lithium-ion batteries will help ease the burden of natural resources and help lower consumption of any type of fuel that is available as a viable alternative to gasoline. Additionally, alternative fuels are still likely to be expensive for consumers.
