What If Life is Full of Man Made Paradoxes That Have Reasonable Solutions?
A paradox is defined as “A tenet contrary to received opinion; also, an assertion or sentiment seemingly contradictory, or opposed to common sense, but that yet may be true in fact.” A paradox can place us in a real dilemma (“A situation involving choice between equally unsatisfactory alternatives”). These are all around us. Some of them we can explain. Others are beyond us. Regardless of how hard we attempt to solve the paradox, we come up with less than a real solution. Perhaps, the answer comes when we understand what causes the illusions we call paradoxes. Some paradoxes are perceptional. Objects appear to be smaller at a distance than when they are up close. If you look at a specially created vase in one way it looks like a vase. Look at it another way and it looks like two faces looking at one another.
