What if Japan had won WW2 in the Pacific?
NO!!!! The Japanese were cruel to countries that they colonized. Just ask the Koreans!!!! They were basically taken over by Japan and treated very very badly. And even to this day Korea hates the Japanese! And have very strong and bitter feelings towards Japan. If they did that to Korea just imagine what the Japanese would have done to darker skinned Filipinos. It wouldn’t have been pretty!!! Also, a couple people brought up the point that Japan would have taken over Asia. Well Europe and the rest of the world would have been conqured by Germany and Italy. It would have been HELL ON EARTH had the US not helped win WW2 in both Europe and the Pacific.
I think the Japanese would have been cruel to our people. Their aim was to dominate and raise the Japanese Empire for the benefit of Japan. I am glad the Allies were able to liberate our country. I am proud of our countrymen who helped defeat the Japanese. Our family was active during the war and some of our women even shaved their heads so the Japanese would think they were men and not rape them. There were no collaborators in our family. Not much thanks for our efforts just the feeling of being free again and proud of my heritage.
