What if it’s a viral, not bacterial infection?

Good question with a shitty answer: A bacterial infection (like strep throat, for instance) can be killed off with antibiotics. A viral infection (like the flu) cannot. So just like in us grownups, if it is a viral infection there’s not much doctors can do but try and help Charlie fight the infection himself. If he has to have an infection, I hope it is bacterial. And the signs point to bacterial.
