What if instructors aren satisfied with the groups? Can they shuffle things around?
Somewhat. Instructors can cancel group creation and nothing will change. They can use this function simply to check how groups might look at any particular time, or they might want to email students with questions before actually creating groups. The algorithm can generate slightly different results when it doesn’t see a solution that is obviously better in some way. In other words, it always tries to pick the best solution, so randomness is not paramount except in certain situations.
