What if I’m thinking of doing a PhD or EdD program after the MES?
Typically, any course-based master’s degree will need to be supplemented with a few extra courses before entering into a PhD or EdD program. Most likely, these will need to be in the areas of research and/or specific content. Please check the admission requirements for the doctoral program you may be interested in BEFORE applying for the MES. It is also important to note that you may want to carefully select your option courses in the MES program to reflect a specific area of interest.
