What if I’m receiving other types of financial aid such as need-based grants and loans?
The SAP policy applies to both merit scholarship and need-based financial aid. This includes, but is not limited to: SU need-based scholarships and grants, Federal funds (such as Pell Grants, Supplemental Grants, Perkins Loans, Subsidized Direct Stafford Loans, Unsubsidized Direct Stafford Loans, PLUS loans), and state funds (such as the College Access Loan). Note that the Tuition Equalization Grant (TEG) requires that a student maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5, complete 24 hours in an academic year, and continue to demonstrate need in order for the grant to be renewed. Information about the TEG SAP policy may be found online.
