If youre residing in the United States but youre not a citizen, be sure you bring your Alien Registration Card as well as a valid passport with any required visas and photo IDs. You may need additional visas for your trip. Please check with your consulate or the consulates of the countries you are traveling to. You may not be allowed to board the ship without the proper documents.

In order to be eligible for the fellowship, applicants must be residents of the United States. Fellowships have been awarded in previous years to non-U.S. citizens living in Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. Non-U.S. citizens living abroad need not apply.
