What if Im going to be out of the country when it is time to renew my licence?
• You can arrange through our Early Bird service to have your short-term licence mailed to your Manitoba address in time to reach you before your old licence expires. The licence certificate will be in a different format from the green card you’re used to. • If you plan to still be away when that licence expires after the short-term licence period, tell the licensing agent and we will arrange to mail out a new annual licence in the mail. Important note: The new licence will be mailed to your Manitoba address, so you should make arrangements to have it forwarded to you. • Please be prepared to provide a post-dated cheque. • If you are not available in person when it is time to take your picture for the new licence photo card, we will use the most recent photograph we have available and you will be required to have a new photo taken the first time you visit a licensing or Autopac agent after you return.
