What if I’d like to license your PhotoMaps but NearMap does not yet cover my region?
A. As NearMap is a media company and not an aerial photography company, we don’t do custom surveys as such. However, if you and possibly other government agencies are willing to commit to NearMap licence(s) for your area, please contact us at queries@nearmap.com with as much detail as possible, and we will get in contact to discuss if we can cover your region. We will work with you to establish an area that can be covered and we can discuss how the number of agencies willing to enter into licences for the area will drive how frequently we fly it. In general, the more government agencies wanting to license our PhotoMaps in a region, the greater the likelihood that NearMap will cover that region if we don’t already have it on our to-do list. At present, we typically update major metropolitan areas monthly, and update other areas quarterly, yearly or once.
