What if I want to student teach at a Department of Defense Dependents School?

0

Rio Salado College is a participating college with a student teaching agreement in place with DoDDS. If you want to student teach in a Department of Defense Dependents School (DoDDS), you must follow their requirements. Your student teaching request must be by submitted on a DoDDS form, sent to Rio for signature, and then forwarded by Rio to DoDDS. Applications and information are available at the following website: http://www.dodea.edu/offices/hr/employment/studentteaching/default.htm DoDDS deadlines for receipt of completed student teaching applications signed by the college are April 30th for Fall placements, and October 31st for Spring placements. Allow sufficient time for Rio to receive your formal DoDDS paperwork well in advance of these deadlines. Please note that you cannot be a paid government employee while you are student teaching.
