What if I want to close my teens Buxx account?
You can close your teen’s Buxx account via the web site or the toll-free number. Please keep in mind that once you have permanently closed your teen’s Buxx account, you cannot re-activate or re-open it. Although your teen can no longer use his Visa Buxx card, his Buxx account will remain active for ten days so all pending transactions and fees have posted. If your teen has a remaining available balance after all transactions have posted, the available balance minus any account closure fee will be credited to your funding account. If your teen has a negative balance after all transactions have posted, your funding account will be charged the remaining balance in addition to any account closure fee. You will be notified via your email address five days prior to any debit or credit is applied to your funding account.
