What if I want to buy an item that exceeds the Persona MAX Cards balance?
If your desired purchase amount is greater than your available point balance, you must consult with the merchant to determine whether supplemental payment is allowed. It is up to each merchant to determine what form of supplemental payment will be accepted, if any. Each merchant may determine in which order the payment methods will be processed. It is recommended to use your personal form of payment first and the Card second. Prior to the transaction, inform the merchant how much of the transaction you wish to apply to the supplemental form of payment and to the Card. All payments applied to the Card must be for an amount less than or equal to the available point balance. If the Card is processed for an amount greater than the available point balance, the transaction may be declined.
