What if I installed my hot water system before 15 January 2010 but haven yet submitted my application form to the NSW Department of Environment, Climate Change and Water?

You will be eligible for the rebate that was available at the time your hot water system was installed. For example, if you installed a 30 REC Solar Hot Water system on 25 September 2009 then you will receive an $800 rebate from the NSW Government. Your licensed plumber is asked to declare the date of installation on your application form. The NSW Home Saver Rebates for hot water systems were introduced on 15 January 2010. Application forms for hot water systems installed between 1 October 2007 and 14 January 2010 (inclusive) must be received by DECCW no later than 5pm on 30 April 2010.
