What if I have too much WarmTouch heating mat? Can I cut the mat to a shorter size?
No. The length of the heating element cannot be adjusted. The heating element must be used in its entirety. Cutting the mat shorter will prevent it from warming at all and will change the heat output creating potentially unsafe conditions. However, the cold leads and sensor wire can both be shortened if necessary.
