What if I have lived outside the UK at some point within the past 5 years?
• Fill in the UK CRB application form – include a continuous 5 year history of all addresses lived at, including those outside the UK. • Send the University evidence to confirm your identity (see relevant guidance sent with the application form). • Send payment for your UK CRB check – a cheque made payable to The University of Cambridge for £36. • Complete the Self Declaration form. You should complete either Section A (to confirm you have no record) or Section B (to declare any criminal record). In signing the declaration, you are asked to disclose the same level of criminal record as would be disclosed under an Enhanced CRB Disclosure. • Obtain documentation from the police authority (or other relevant authority) in your country of residence detailing the status of your criminal record.
