What if I have changes/updates to my translation, and Lingua Solutions did the original work. What are the charges?
Updates are charged on a per-update basis. They generally involve hourly charges unless the new word count is significant. If the word count is large and leveraging is possible from previously translated materials, the TM pricing matrix for 100% matches, Repetitions and Fuzzy matches applies (see question 3). If updates involve new layout/DTP or other components such as web or software engineering, all costs will be provided as a “change order” to your original project invoice and will be quoted upon receipt of all new material. Please be advised that changes to your source documentation can quickly add up and oftentimes end up costing more than you had in mind, especially for smaller work that is updated several times after completion of original project. We highly recommend that you freeze your source material and only submit it to translation/localization when you are absolutely sure that there will be no more updates/changes to what we have received.
