Call the SEC’s Filer Support Branch at (202) 551-8900, and ask to speak with someone in the Technical Support Unit. They will be able to answer your questions about such topics as: direct transmission and converting documents (e.g., spreadsheets in Lotus 1-2-3 or Microsoft Excel) into American Standard Code for Information (ASCII) format, the required format for Form 13F electronic submissions.
