What if I finished beauty school in another state but I havent tested for a license. How do I test in Nevada to get my license there instead?
The candidate must get verification from the State Board where you completed your school hours, listing all subjects taken and the number of hours per subject. Documents from out of state schools will not be accepted. Validation must come from a state level governing agency, such as Board of Cosmetology, Post-Secondary or the Board of Education. Once hours are approved and accepted, the candidate will receive an application or credit to return to school if they do not have the required number of hours for Nevada.
