What if I find an au pair in the Infant Specialized au pair pool but I do not want to pay extra for the au pair to go to Infant Specialized au pair training?
All au pairs that are designated as Infant Specialized haveat least 200 documented hours of caring for infants and children under two years old and they also receive intensive hands-on training in infant caregiving and development at our AuPairCare Au Pair Academy. There is an additional $1250 fee due upon matching with an Infant Specialized au pair. Within our online matching system, Family Room, you can see our entire pool of au pairs, including Infant Specialized au pairs and standard au pairs. Families with infants are not required to match with an Infant Specialized au pair.
