The interest rates and fees in the Federal Direct Loan Program are comparable to, or better than, those in the Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP). The College believes that the simplicity and stability in the Federal Direct Loan Program outweigh the uncertainty and possibility of a slightly lower fee in the Federal Family Education Loan Program.
